Author: Oleander
Subject: following this train of thought, this is why I love this John. In the other books, we see his actions through the eyes of other observers, and rarely through his own eyes. Thus, interpretation of his actions is somewhat up for grabs. He is a much more amorphous character, more subject to varied interpretations as such. Now we get to know him for himself, how he sees himself and the world around him.
In reply to: kgp 's message, "I went through the same disconnect - where is the John I "know"? We only see him in confined instances in The Books, here he is flesh and blood, 3-D, on a daily basis. We get to hear what he's thinking, the wheels turning behind the smooth social facade. I'm liking Hal a lot also." on 11:14:11 10/16/07 Tue
