這個世代的是，
我們有更宏大的華廈，更急躁的脾氣；
更寬闊的路，更狹窄的觀點；
我們花錢更多，但擁有更少；
我們有更大的屋，更細的家；
更多方便，更少時間；
我們有更多知識，更少判斷力；
更多專家，但更多的問題；
更多藥物，更少健康；
我們說得太多，愛得太少，怨得太深；
我們學懂了怎樣謀生，卻不懂得怎樣生活；
我們登陸了月球，卻不願過對面街認識新鄰居；
我們潔淨了空氣，污染了靈魂；
我們征服了外太空，但變成（內太空）；
我們破解了原子，但沒有破解成見；
我們有更高的薪水，但更低的士氣；
我們生產量多，質少；
這是高頭大馬，但心胸狹窄的年代；
利潤高，關係淺；
眼見世界和平，內戰頻仍；
更多閒暇，更少歡愉；
更多食物，更少營養；
這時代興公一份婆一份，但更興離婚；
時尚雅緻的屋，破碎的家；
