U r hard work behind getting Mama a job in ur company, in spite of his failure in the first attempt is something which needs to be appreciated. I really have lots to say about the current situation, if the prevailing relation between me and mama is in good standing. But unfortunately it is a known fact that mama does not have a good feeling about me. So what ever I say about this situation generally may be of concern to him.
Just a thought! A friend in need is a friend indeed. U did a great job as a good friend. But u must have thought before taking the thorn out of the lion's paw.
