Hi. I have been getting my hair highlighted for a few months now. I always tell the hair stylist to put a few extra highlights on top. Well I have just been having bad luck. The first lady made the highlights so uneven. On my right side of my head I had thich highlights and on the left I had very few. Yuck! Well, then The second time I went somewhere else and it was horrible. It was not even through out my scalp so when I put my hair in a pony tail it looked silly. So my last desprit attemp to have highlights... I go to another salon. She tells me it's going to be hard because my highlights are so uneven and she doesn't want to fry the parts that are blonde. But she says she'll do it. I said ok. anything that can help. I sware to you, she dies the top part of my hair Bleach, orange blonde. Not high lights! But straight ugly blonde. i looked like a stripper with a bad hair do. Just the top too! So when I put my hair in a pony tail I looked like a skunk with a srtip of blonde on my head. Well, I was finally done with high lights. So I tried to fix it. I died the bottom part with bleach, till my whole head was bleached, then died the whole thing brown. (I learned this from a nice lady who does hair. she said it takes out the orange)So now I have a wonderful blonde head. The problem is, I don't want blonde hair. I wan't my natural hair back. I had med, light brown. I tried dying it dark but the blond just got a little dark. It's not reacting to the bleach. Help. How many shades darker should I go? I'm confused.
