Subject: Hair Colour help!

Hi, can anyone give me any advice. I have shoulder length bleached hair, very pale baby blonde, nearly white. I tried to colour it to a honey shade, but the dye turned it greenish tinged!! I think because my hair is so pale it hold onto the slightest colour. Im not sure how to get it a warmer shade? I hate hairdressers who always want to dye it darker than I want. My hair is in great condition. Any advice?
