The girl watches with excitment,but concern.She quickly shut the paddock gate as the colt entered.She locked it tightly and then watched the stallion from outside.She walked into the barn and opened the inside gate to the paddock.She checked his water,keeping her attention on the colt,and the returned inside the banr.She entered the loft and tosses a square bale of hay down into the barn aisle.She cuts the twine and then tosses it into the paddock in small piles everywhere.She entered the feed room and got a mixture of corn,oats,and barely.She mixed it thoroughly,emptied it into a feed pan,and shoved it under the gate,and pushed it to the side,near the water bucket.SHe then rested her arms on the gate,chin in her arms as she watches the colt with much interest.She lets him settle for a little while,emerald occuli following his every move. .V.
