i don't know anything about that search for a star show you're talking about (i'm in colorado) so i don't think their winner will be half as big as erik. erik's name has reached filipinos all over the world for crying out loud!

but i agree with you about the new star in a million contestants. what were they thinking?! one of the guys couldn't even reach the last few notes ng kailangan kita! what happened to, what i thought, the ever-so-thorough screening process nila?! yuck talaga!! and don't even get me started on one of their contestant last saturday na nagpaka oa sa stage with all her freakin' hand movements! sabi nga ni dingdong,parang si verni vargas nung bata! ewww!! but i don't remember, natanggal ba sya?
