My bet from the start is Sheryn, but as the judges said, the scores are back to zero on that grand finals night. I would say Sheryn chose the wrong piece while Eric chose the good one. He really is good and you can feel the song when he is singing it. It is as if that is really his moment to shine and tell to all that he could win the contest.
I am just disappointed to Sheryn's reaction when the winner was announced. Is she really expecting that she is the winner? That is bad attitude. She is really good but she must realized that its not always her time. As they say, "Bilog ang bola". She may always be the top choice each Saturday but that Grand Finals night, I would say (again, in my opinion) Eric is the best performer. As Erik's father said, all of them deserve to be called "SIAM" coz they are top 3 among the 10 candidates. It could be Marinel, Sheryn or Eric, either, each deserve to win. Its just that only one should emerge to be called the SIAM.
For Sheryn, be gracious. Accept defeat graciously. No offense meant but sana, wag ka naman masyado bilib sa sarili mo. At some point in time, you should realize and accept that you could be beaten or somebody might be better than you and on that particular night, you must accept that Eric is better than you. You may have very good voice but Eric has the x factor to be a star. To be star, its the totality, not just the singing voice. When I saw the criteria for judging, I know that Eirc has the edge over you already. Why, because both of you have the voice, but Eric has the personality. Eh sa grand finals nga, ganyan n attitude mo, what more kung ikaw na ang nanalo!
For Eric, stay humble. Remember the people that brought you where you are right now. Be gracious and humber yourself. I know there are rooms for improvement but never stop learning. I wish you the best and I pray that you reach all your dreams.
