Guys, give Eric some credit, I am one with you in believing that Sheryn has an overflowing hell of talent and I am one of her admirers since the time she got through the preliminaries but this afternoon's saga is really intended for Eric. Here are some of my observations as why the judges chose him over Sheryn :

1.) Sheryn's piece is not as "grand" as it should be. She could have chosen a better piece like the one she sang in morning girls a couple of days back (HOME). But nonetheless - this cebuana lady never failed to impress me. She has the sweetest smile, most charming gestures and overflowing with confidence. If things can be redone, she could have chosen a more - competitive - piece.

Eric's piece is one of the hardest song anyone can sing and he was able to deliver it flawlessly and I was simply amazed on how he carried himself throughout tonight's competition. Appealwise - he has improved by leaps and bounds (similarly with a friend of mine - Christian Bautista, who started with the show looking like shit hehe - sorry tol).

2.) Let's face the fact that it is human nature to go for the under dogs. Under dog in the sense that he was a wild card entry. He broke millions of hearts when he made mention how people discouraged him in this competition saying that he doesnt have a futire in singing - much more - in the compatition. It's himan nature to cheer for people who traverses and overcomes the tempest storm he had experienced.

3.) Eric may not be good looking as in artistahin but let's face ot - he has a certain charm, and the idea behind the competition is for ABS to groom a "multimedia" artist. Sheryn may be the most talented lady but we already have a dessa in the industry. She has to curve her niche first. No offense meant with my observations guys. Like most of you - I am one among the millions who were captivated by Sheryn and once this lady comes up with an album - ill be the first to rush at Oddyssey to get an original copy.

C'est la vie - Tonight's saga ended up giving a new life for a desrving winner. Kudos to ABS. They were able to make another bench mark in the entertainment quality viewing for the FIlipino people. I admire ABS for laways being able to do better kahit minsan nang gagaya ng format sa kabila. IN teh end, they still end up as more prestigios.

BUT GUYS, I TELL YOU - I HAD THE LAUGH OF MY LIFE WHEN I SAW THE THREE FINALIST GOT PUNKED IN TONIGHT'S EPISODE OF VICTIM. Marinel was a riot!..
