12 year old emo eh? I'm just a bit older than but in hind sight it kind of amazes me that each generation finds something to rebel against but the irony is by participating in some kind of "social" rebellion one conforms (ever notice when ya go to a club or cafe everyone kind of looks the same?).

So what exactly is your beef with your dad? Lots of grown ups can be jerks and the same thing goes for kids, teens, etc. There will always be lots of BS ya have to put up with and if ya concentrate on the BS then the cycle continues. IMHO the best revenge is ignoring the BS and developing your talents where ever those might be, life is too short to deal with short sighted idiots.

As far as hacking, it can be quite interesting at times figuring out various puzzles and doing interesting things with computers.
