The McLifeStyle is a double edge sword in a modern world.

On one side mass production of consumer items allows people to live comfortable live and have products and services not possible before the industral revolution.... the down side to consumption is people in general have very very short insigts as to the complex interactions and in general don't consider anything else other than self interest.

It is understandable considering the thousands of years of human evolution and the survival mentality, but my greatest fear is collective human self interest will eventually be a really bad thing for people and this planet....
