Subject: UAE port deal, Americans prejudice?

Seems to me, the United States became a superpower because of open minds and open markets. So when a business deal like the UAE ports company is objected to because of an "Arab" connection, then what's the difference between prejudice against "Arabs" or potential prejudice against other groups like "Danes, Mexicans, Chinese, Christians, Muslims, Jews, gays, whites, blacks, etc."

If decisions are based on fear, terrorists win! By dismissing the UAE ports deal because of prejudice it illustrates mob politics that does not step back and think about the big picture.

any other opinions?
