Subject: Hacking behind NAT

Hi, great web site!!!

I am a noob at this so forgive me for my dumbness...

I have a question but to better understand my question let me paint a diagram of my connection to internet.

I have a linksys router which connects to dsl. i have a computer that connects to the linksys. the linksys ofcourse acts as the gateway.
now lets say, my computer has a static ip 192.168.1.130 and the linksys has an ip 192.168.1.10.

when i connect to the internet and check the geolocation of my ip, my ip shows up as

IP Address: 89.5.140.124
Location: xyz

You're using proxy server in:
Proxy IP Address 212.72.35.54
Location: ABC

a) Since I am in location ABC, this should be my "real" ip, 212.72.35.54? am i right?

b) This kind of network infrastructure is called NAT, isn't it?

c) how can ettercap or any other sniffer work if I am behind a NAT?

d) how can you hack into a computer behind a NAT?

i might have more questions after these.

Thanks for your help.
