Shoulders heaved in unison with her sides in her own form of a sigh; seemed nothing would make Sampson happy. After he had accused her of being afraid, whimpering over nothing, she was not about to comfort him. After all.. he had showed nothing but hate towards her.. right?
Wet tipped nose caught the scent of another dog, hair between shoulder blades bristling. Assuming her low, firm stance, the female glared around the room, gold hued eyes taking in everything. A loud growl was aimed at the puppy before her eyes landed upon Sampson.
Perhaps they hadn't been on the greatest terms lately. But the depressed dog was enough to loosen her stance. Holding her head low, silken ears pressed firm against her skull, the female slunk over. She knew better than to peterb the male, but his actions confused her. He was supposed to be the tough one. Bottom lip quivered and light bark was released. "Are...What's wrong?"
