Hearing Paige's request, Shock slunk over, closing the distance between herself and Plat. She would not let Paige down, she would not disgrace her as Sampson had. Arriving at Plat's side, she folded her haunches under her, lowering her head to softly sniff the puppy's soft downy fur. Softly she nudged the pup using her thick muzzle, "She won't be gone long," She informed the puppy trying to keep her voice straight, but the quaver within may have given away her worry. Why should Paige go and chase after the source of misery? Or atleast.. why could Sampson just shape up and get over his past.

Forget the past, live for today.
