Thank you Amy & Eric for putting into words what I wanted to say. Granted there is some work needed to be done to improve LWB but I still wish fans would support the show. Your points about the importance of developed characters are right on. I also think of Friends as another example. That show can be so funny at times because the audience knows the characters so well. But on the flip side, how much character development can take place when a large chunk of the show is usually devoted to an improv piece with a guest actor(for Morning Chicago bits)?

Eric you brought up a point about the scene between Bonnie & Tom Hanks and said it worked because they were 2 funny people playing off each other. I also wonder about the strength of the improv skills on some of the other actors. I just don't think they can keep up with Bonnie or for some reason they are holding back. I thought Dax Shephard was great as the director in Bonnie's commercial. Those scenes flowed - Dax could keep going and going with the improv and give something to Bonnie to play off of.

I always look forward to Friday nights and will continue to watch this show no matter what. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Season 3.
