Subject: BONNIE ON LETTERMAN

On June 25 BONNIE was on THE LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN. She talked about the cancellation of "LIFE WITH BONNIE" This is pretty much verbatum of what she said. If you missed the interview there is a clip of it on cbs.com and click on the THE LATE SHOW.


Bonnie: "FRIDAY BEFORE THE MONDAY THAT WE HAD TO GO TO NEW YORK FOR THE UPFRONTS(this is for shows that were picked up) I WAS AT A CHARITY EVENT AND MY CELLPHONE RINGS AND I SAY 'HELLO' AND IT'S THE PRESIDENT OF ABC. HE SAYS "HEY BONNIE LISTEN I'VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS" AND I SAY "WHAT" HE SAYS "BONNIE YOUR SHOW IS OF SUCH QUALITY THAT IT DOESN'T FIT IN WITH THE REST OF THE PROGRAMS ON OUR NETWORK." I SAID "ARE YOU CANCELING ALL THOSE PROGRAMS?" HE SAID "I KNEW YOU'D MAKE A JOKE."

I THINK THE PRESIDENT OF THE NETWORK IS A COWARD WAITING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO TELL BONNIE THAT THE SHOW WAS CANCELED WAS A VERY TERRIBLE THING TO DO. KNOWING THIS INFORMATION SHOULD MAKE US MORE VIGILANT IN OUR RESOLVE TO SEE THAT BONNIE AND THE CAST AND CREW OF "LIFE WITH BONNIE" GET A THIRD SEASON. SO PLEASE KEEP WRITING,CALLING AND FAXING LETTERS TO ABC. ALSO IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY SIGN THE PETITION TO SAVE "LIFE WITH BONNIE" THE ADDRESS IS:
