Bonnie Hunt was oh-so-gracious after learning that she had landed a lead comedy actress nomination for her now-defunct ABC comedy "Life With Bonnie." "I'm grateful I had the opportunity to do the show in the first place," she said. The Emmy nom "is nice for my family because it'll make them feel good," she said. "My mom still can't understand how the show can be canceled."

Among the more pleasant surprises: the irony of Bonnie Hunt's comedy-actress nomination for Life with Bonnie, a show that ABC killed presumably because it wasn't as mediocre as the network's other so-called sitcoms.

Congrats to Bonnie Hunt for getting nominated for an Emmy. It'll be
great if she wins, so that ABC exes could once again realize what
morons they are when it comes to knowing when to keep shows and when

Matt:
Too true. I love the irony of Hunt being nominated when Life with
Bonnie was so unexpectedly axed. It's not as if ABC is swimming in
nominations, and it's not hard to understand why. Peggy
