Fellow students and David,
Just wondering if ever you had the chance to watch a show on MTV called juvies.
My youngest daughter (15 going on 30ish) and I watched it last night, what an eye opener it could be for a class project.
It showed a young man that had played on his high school sport teams...football, baseball, etc.
Nevertheless, he was caught drinking underage, and was put in jail for one month, which in turn put his career in sports and a full ride scholarship to a prestious college almost down the toilet. All the while his parents were saying what a good boy he has been, and his teachers mumbled about his grades...excuses to show he was not the delinquent the court system made him out to be...But...
when he arrived in juvinile jail, he had to show who was the "pod god", hence now he will be spending the next six years in prison, because he killed the "bigboy" out of self-preservation techniques. '
Just wondering now, did he do this by drinking, or did the court system do this when they labled him as delinqent?
I will need to ponder this...may I ask what you all think?
Thank you ,
Jarene
