Subject: Tim Gibbs Bittersweet Last Scenes, Blendie Muck and TnB Observations...

Hi MM Crew! I use voy myself but just thought I'd pop on over here, extend my best wishes for the the new messageboard and post my latest thoughts...

Well, check that out! I just caught Tim Gibb's last scenes on 19 MAR and I have to say... that was the lowest key exit ever (next to Robin Strasser's...)

I was very disappointed with Robin Strasser's exit. I felt a diva of her quality should have been given a better exit. And watching Tim Gibb's last scenes I just have to say HA! Take that Jill!! What comes around goes around and Mr. Gibbs got one of the lousiest exits ever. And you know what???? I LOVED IT!!!!!

I never did care for the casting. Tim Gibbs as Kevin was a horrible miscast. And his exit for me at least was REWARDING. So it was low key? SO WHAT??? He's gone and I'm a happy viewer.


As for the Blendie MUCK... I have to ask

is Peluso acting over the top on purpose trying to make her character that "evil"? Is it supposed to draw sympathy for Blendie, a couple I have no sympathy for? Peluso's acting in this role reminds me of Fiona Hutchinson's over the top acting in her recent ATWT stint.

Anyway, while I do think the Blendie madness has been given some "dignity" by the Tomlin regime (I pray to the soap gods we'll never see Pool Table Sex again!!!) I still don't buy it. I just don't see the chemistry between Viki & Ben


Speaking of chemistry...

I have to admit watching Todd & Blair's Monday & Tuesday scenes... I saw it. I did. I saw A LOT of chemistry between the characters. I heard with my own ears the characters discuss their history and I got a surprising flashback to the gold balloon wedding. Howarth & DePaiva sizzled and Todd's heartfelt confession was endearing. POINT TO NOTE: Somehow, in someway, Blair's changed. The character has soften and become sympathetic. Let's face it, a lot of people were cheering when she shot Max. But today was the day I saw Blair demonstrate a few qualities I thought were almost "Téaish". Example: How willing Blair was to forgive him. ANOTHER POINT TO NOTE: Today I saw it as well. I saw DePaiva & Howarth connect with their eyes and honestly, it really was exciting.

These are just my humble observations & opinions. I'm throwing them out there to stimulate intelligent discussion. What do you think?
