Kuh’s Hacienda opens
Kuh Ledesma’s Hacienda Isabella—a property off Tagaytay which the Pop Diva plans to develop into a country club—will be open for Valentine’s Day.
Couples who want something different (other than usual concert and dinner) can hie off to Hacienda Isabella for a typical country dinner under the skies on Feb. 14.
Only an hour and half away from Manila, Hacienda Isabella was originally intended by Kuh to be a retreat house and as a bed-and-breakfast getaway for bored city dwellers. Recently, she decided to open it to the public and for weddings, debuts, birthday parties and other such gatherings. “This place is so beautiful, I wanted to share it with the public,” says the Pop Diva who named the place after her only daughter.
Hacienda Isabella is also envisioned as a performance venue. On March 20, for instance, Kuh will be having a concert inspired by Barbra Streisand’s One Voice show, which was held at Streisand’s former Malibu estate on Sept. 6, 1986. She will be joined by her daughter Isabella and up-and-coming singer Rebekah. Kuh also intends to invite other artists to stage shows there.
