He flaps after her, perching on the counter, crowing quietly, You are afraid, are you not? Afraid that if you tell him your feelings he will laugh and turn. Afraid of rejection. and why? You have nothing to lose, to be honest, if you wish to be loving and in a relationship. Nor does he. Nothing to lose, only to gain. Does religion not tells us to love one another? His words spoke wisdom, the mark that he had been places, heard things. This raven was quite the jack-in-the box.
