I'd gladly pony up a place to crash before / after the event, provided I'm not on vacation (Feb is a great time to NOT be in Lansing). Speaking of symposiums, is anyone up for the Pictured Rocks symposium this year? I'm on the fence if I'd rather go to the symposium or buy a new paddling jacket.
