What a race. Souns like fun (except maybe for the Moutnain biking which I would probably be beyond bad at - at least if it was on mountain trails). What packrafting did you actually end up doing?

Congratulatins by the way.

Is anyone here doing Dance With Dirt this year? Some of you would probably thoroughly enjoy that too.

ps- Have fun next week kayaking. I'll be somewhere near Wales, Alaska heading east through the Seward Peninsula with a friend on a two-week trailess backpcking trip. Essentially Wales to Serpentine Hot Spirngs to the Nome-Taylor highway terminus and then back to Nome either on foot or, hopefully a hitchike. Will be a tough trip, but an adventure. For those that care I can share some maps now and my gear list. Gonna be carrying about 40 pounds at the start of the trip - yikes. I've not carried that much in a LONG time (only carried about 26lb at the start of my Isle Royale jaunt that I jut came back from, very leisurely trip only covered 50 odd miles with pack and another 10+ in dayhikes plus a bit, not nearly enough, of paddling in those horrid rental kayaks).
