Anyone who's hung out w/ me for any length of time knows that I'm not really all that good at fishing, I just love to do it. My sucess depends largely upon my ability to locate stupid fish. Sometimes it works great.

My current plan is to continue w/ the kayak fishing idea until I become convinced it's not going to work. Then I'll fish the rivers. I had a day a few falls ago on the Pierre Marquette w/ 13 hook-ups (3 landed). The last 2 falls I've been dedicated to bow hunting and didn't fish. I'm convinced that bow hunting is for people who don't like to eat venison, and thus I'm fishing again this year.

It's getting boring going alone and not catching anything, so I'm taking my "dancer-neighbor" up on her offer to go out Friday night. That leaves me Sat. noon - Sunday PM to fish. If anyone is interested, I may hit Muskegon, a local trip for those of you in GR. Wapiti? Others?
