As few as possible. That's always the goal.

I actually enjoy their family events if there are a lot of kids under 14 years old. They and I typically take off on an epic adventure (at least they and I think so).

The kids and I usually come back muddy, bloody and beat up, but full of adventure stories and wide eyes. The adults always coo about it. I just like to socialize with the kids as opposed to sit around and talk about "adult things".

I'm sure you all understand in a "funny" sort of way.
