 As you have seen on the main page we are kayaking through the Soo Locks and down the St Marys River this summer. While planning this expedition I found very little on the subject. Looking for any experience or thought you might have. I have been to the Soo Locks and talked to the Lock Keepers. They are welcoming us with open gates. The St. Marys river as far as the map shows looks exciting. Paddling in site of freighter and exploring hundreds of islands. With comments recieve so far we are looking at having a large group and will surly attract media attention.
