I'll like paddling it much more in my crossover than the old canoe I had last time. I couldn't stop thinking about what may lurk beneath the surface though... Pike & bass is my guess. I hit the Grand in Lansing this weekend. I bumped into (he didn't mention his first name) Kruger, in his blue/white kayak w/ dog riding up front. He seemed to be a real nice guy & some others I talked to told me he's a pretty exceptional character - paddled from the west to the east via the north, or something like that.
