But I do have a possible idea. . .

Norwich Mine Area might be an idea. It is well know and not that remote, but it is right off the North Country Trail, meaning we can hike 15 to 20 miles to it. It does have buildings, etc. and is under Archeological study. We could also get the support (publicity wise) of the North Country Trail Association (National Publicity!!) That said, I have talked to the director of trail management, and he is very interested in a joint project.

If you would like to talk more, let me know. Otherwise, a prospective Expedition Leader choses their own objective, unless we are given a task by someone else (an are paid for it).
