Did you say "Da Rouge"??
I would look into that river. We might have to also do part of the Grand River. We would only be able to start at 12 mile. I paddle from Sparta to 12 mile and know how the river got its name. Truly "Gone Bad". Took us 5 hours. Monster log jams, Sting Nettles, very much rogue.
