MISS CRESCENT CITY NEW ORLEANS SEEKS CONTESTANTS FOR 2006 COMPETITION


Miss Crescent City New Orleans, a local preliminary to the Miss Louisiana and Miss America competitions, is seeking young women 17-24 to compete for college scholarships in their annual pageant.

“We promise a very exciting competition this year,” said Hollie Domiano, Miss CCNO business manager. “The contestants will bring their fresh energy and enthusiasm to the table.”

Contestants in the Miss division must be no younger than 17 and no older than 24 years of age. They will compete in personal interview, swimsuit, evening wear, talent and casual wear phases of the pageant. There is NO ENTRY FEE for Miss contestants.

Miss CCNO is also seeking contestants 13-18 for its Teen and Princess divisions. Teen contestants will compete in personal interview, swimsuit, evening wear, talent and casual wear, while Princess contestants will compete in interview, physical fitness and evening wear.Teen winner goes to Teen Louisiana state pageant.

Interested contestants and families are invited to an informational seminar Sunday, August 14, 2005 at 1pm at Rosie Lea’s Bubble Tea Café’, 7638 Maple Street in the historic Riverbend neighborhood of New Orleans.

Miss Crescent City New Orleans will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005 at First Unitarian Universalist Church on S. Claiborne in New Orleans. Interviews will begin in the morning, with the pageant in the afternoon.
