The beautiful Dalmatian Islands are all jewels in the Adriatic, but the Island of Brac, which hosts the town of Bol called to Nikita the moment she heard of its existence. The stunning blonde had worked hard for her money all of her short life and when she received her mother’s inheritance she understood that she had just become the engineer of her own financial destiny. She recognized that now she could go wherever the wind blew her and not surprisingly given her childhood and her early memories, the wind blew her far away from anything she had known in the past. She often thought back to this time as a whirlwind of independence but had yet to regret any of the decisions she made in the spare of that moment.
There was the decision to buy the sailboat not only for its joyful beauty, but because it would allow her to eventually make a living in the tourist industry. But first sight unseen she bought a little house, which sat not more than 2 miles from the beach in this famous windsurfing area. Nikita remembered how coincidentally her mother’s probate attorney happened to be taking care of a client who desperately needed to get rid of the property at the time of her probate hearings. Nikita, at the man’s counsel, jumped at the suggestion that she acquire the modestly priced property and walked out of his office with the keys to the house.
But then her other property came into her life and her involvement with the sailboat required her to temporarily close the home down, as the majority of foreigners in this Croatian coastal town seemed to do in the off-season. The blonde was surprised to find that the area had unspoiled beauty, abounding nature, sparkling beaches, historical and cultural attractions and a growing tourist industry that beckoned for someone like Nikita to set up camp. Meeting Adrian and George Jones after arriving in the area, had been a blessing because with the meeting came the yacht, and the rest as they say is history.
Although Bol was not a sleepy hick town, given its location an hour by boat from Split, and thus connected to the rest of Europe, it was still a set back holiday resort and thus Nikita thought that perhaps Michael would be able to rest easier at the house as he convalesced. With both feet planted firmly on terra firma, the man would feel better and the woman would be able to un-rabble the mystery that was Michael Samuelle. So arriving at the marina late in the evening and after securing the yacht, Nikita moved Michael with a lot of hardship, through the quiet alley that separated her home from the canal to the back door of her home. Michael, weak but awake was happy to be back on land and although he could not see the area, he somehow knew Nikita would take care of him, until he could return the favor.
