Nikita could not believe that these people had so much more wealth than she did. She never knew anyone else with a home to even compare to the splendor of her parents estate. It was an amazing site to see indeed. The pulled up to the front gate and Nikita began to realize she had been here before. She had always wondered about her visit here and it all came together as she entered the house. The foyer flooring was made of Peruvian marble and the paintings were as glorious as she could remember. These people definitely showed their immense wealth by the décor of their residence. “This way please,” The servant beckoned. The servants led them to the guest rooms and Nikita’s servant helped her intro a beautiful pale green dress that accentuated her figure. Nikita was getting dressed for over an hour. She was made up and her hair was done up into a fabulous French twist. Her mother entered the room and looked at her daughter up and down. “You look beautiful my dear.” Nikita let out a little smile. “Mother, am I meeting him today?” Her mother came over and fiddled with Nikita’s dress. “I know not my dear. We just need to have you ready. I know we are meeting with Lady Adrian in one hour hence. She has not seen you since you were a little girl.” Nikita responded. “Yes I remember quite well. Now I know what virtue means.” Nikita was able to make her mother laugh. “Do you think he will like me at all?” Nikita asked. Her mother kissed Nikita on the forehead. “I do not see how he could not.” Nikita smiled as she braced herself for the meeting with the Samuelles. “God give me strength.” Seymour burst into his mother’s study room and bowed to her. “Mama, I saw her. I saw Michael’s new wife!!!!” Lady Adrian smiled at her young son. “Oh! Did you? How did she appear?” “Oh Mama! She was beautiful. Her hair is the prettiest I had ever seen and she is just….just an angel!” He replied with enthusiasm. She laughed at her young boy’s crush. “Well my dear. I am glad you find her pleasing. Have you seen your brother?” Seymour shook his head. “No! Not since yesterday. When shall we meet her?” Adrian smiled and observed that it was time to reunite with the Wolfes after all of this time. “Well my son. We are meeting them in the green sitting room. Would you care to join us?” His eyes lit up. “Oh mama. I would love to.” She took his hand and let him out of the study. “Very well then.
