Nikita watched in total amazement as Michael paraded half nude into the guest quarters of his marital home, seemingly not caring that his bare chest would affect the pretty woman. The blonde who was sharing her apprehensions with her dead friends felt abandoned as the ghosts scooted away the moment the handsome man strutted into the room. Nikita deeply sighed and purposely batted her eyelashes at the arriving male.
The black silk boxers that Michael wore hung low on his hips and the row of fine hair leading to the head of pleasure enticed Nikita. However, the woman who had been brought up by the very proper Adrian, was not going to allow her staunch sense of decency to vacillate even if it meant betraying her own carnal needs. Michael smiled at Nikita in salutation flashing an impish grin and winking at the almost out-of-control Nikita while looking charmingly shy when he followed her gaze to its intended destination.
Michael whispered in his deep accented voice a monosyllabic greeting, “Hi.”
Nikita who was calling on every fiber of her respectability chose a sarcastic response, “Not yet,” and lifted the glass of Merlot to show Michael she was well on her way to really getting inebriated.
Michael sat on the floor next to Nikita who rested her back on the bed near the fireplace and told her, “May I have some?”
Nikita needed to get her mind out of the gutter and instead answered, “No Michael, I cannot give into you in Elena’s home, I don’t care how much of a mission this marriage is.”
The corners of Michael’s mouth quirked slightly and he clarified continuing, “Some wine.”
The blonde, who was this close to three-sheets-to-the-wind handed the amused man the goblet after topping it off and remarked, “Oh, you were talking about the Merlottttttt.”
Michael took the goblet and swallowed its content in one swift gulp and moved to kiss the woman’s head before standing, “I would never disrespect you with a quick roll in the hay anywhere but least of all here.”
She nodded, her blue eyes banded in red from the alcohol consumed and she answered, “I truly would appreciate, then, if you would not wear that get-up around me.”
He held unto the antique brass door haft as he slowly inched the door closed and whispered, “Good night my love, pleasant dreams.”
When he silently closed the door behind himself she threw a pillow at the portal and mumbled, “As soon as I can get that picture of you and her out of my head I’ll be able to dream again.”

Perhaps because of the alcohol Nikita ingested and the drugs Elena took the women in the Samuelle household slept peacefully until late morning. Michael, who awoke early and was now back from taking Adam to school, enjoyed the solitude of the kitchen with a good cup of coffee and a crisp ‘London Times’ as his only companions. Elena first stumbled into the kitchen and was welcomed by her husband who handed her a short glass of orange juice. Nikita was next arriving and Michael handed her a glass of tomato juice and two aspirins as the blonde excused herself and went for a jog after downing the hangover cure.
When Nikita returned, invigorated and sweaty, Elena who stood behind her handsome husband reading over his shoulder a story on the electronic page of the ‘New York Post’ enthusiastically greeted her. The exotic beauty went on about her plans to spend time with the blonde shopping for chairs in an antique market she was sure the woman would enjoy. Elena explained that she was not going to allow Sarah to find an apartment and move away from her brother now that they found each other.
What Nikita didn’t know was that Michael and Elena had exchanged angry words moments earlier when the mission wife had disclosed her plans to have Sarah stop being a lesbian. Of course Michael, who was incapable of tolerating stupidity and ignorance, had in no uncertain terms told his wife to stop being… stupid and ignorant. Michael warned the woman not to even think of bringing the preposterous notion to his sister. Michael, of course, didn’t want Elena going half cocked getting Nikita… err Sarah, male companionship to straighten the so-called lesbianism.
"E-le-na sometimes you make me really angry." Michael had scolded his wife.
"You don't want your sister going through life how good a male feels. If after she tries Helmut out, she still prefers a woman, well then I'll stop."
"E-le-na!" Was all Michael angrily said before Nikita stepped into the kitchen and dried her brow.
