One of the things I really enjoy about LFN is that it leaves a *lot* of room for interpretation. It is a series that is perfect for fanfiction writing.

In terms of blending this AU premise with canon scenes, yes, I find it very tricky. I find myself having to take my time in really thinking things over to make sure that the story is believable and that it does blend. I'm also trying very hard to make the characters of Madeline and Paul believable. Not an easy task for me.

This is the first story too I've written were I find I have to write a general outline of several chapters at a time so that I can remember what's happening and the characters I've introduced. But I do admit that I'm enjoying the challenge of it all. If you folks are enjoying reading it then that makes it even doubly rewarding.
