 with everyone's comments. A sequel would be wonderful, with this set of characters you've set up, and somehow having Walter join them (I was secretly hoping that he too would abandon Phillip at the last moment), and then further adventures with Paul and Madeline somewhere in the fabric of the story... the possibilities certainly loom large.

At any rate, not to seem undyingly grateful, this had been a truly wonderful read, a true "page-turner", if you will. Thanks so much, and many many compliments on your style, plot, characterisations, etc!!
