Beyond the thrusts

This is JennS and Loveroy’s take on “Bleeders/Hemoglobin”. If you never saw the movie before, GET IT and immediately fast forward to John’s reflection in the mirror (sigh) and beyond the thrusts. Outraged that this movie was blatantly ignored by the film industry, prompted us to bring our version of this film to you the adoring fans. Obviously we have taken this classic work of art, this masterpiece of cinematography, and given it a Section twist (but with no Goblins running amok). We promise the kitchen counter scene will be intact, 53 thrusts and all.

Disclaimer: if the thrust count is wrong, we’ll just have to go back and start counting again and again and again – sigh.


SANGLANT

The story begins with an exquisite woman applying makeup to her face, blotting her perfect complexion with a powder puff and inspecting her curly blonde coiffure. The reflection in the ornate gold mirror shows her unquestionable beauty, her long neck, the perfect tops of her ample breasts, and her clear blue eyes. We see a panned view of the room, a bedroom, with the daylight streaming through the stained glass windows while an artist paints her portrait. The camera lingers at the radiance of the jeweled necklace with its enormous ruby pendant resting on the woman’s neck as her ringed fingers fidget with it.

"In 1652 the King of Holland forbade intermarriage inside aristocratic families when his doctors discovered the anemia, hemophilia and the other genetic weaknesses his nobleman were building into their bloodlines. But Eva Van Damm was a narcissist, one of the great ones. Unable to make love to herself she settled on the closest satisfactory substitute, her own twin brother. When she heard the King’s decree, Eva Van Damm packed up her family, her brother, cousins, nieces and nephews and transplanted them to the New World. She built a great mansion there and with the passage of time the doors closed to outsiders and finally the Van Damm family disappeared entirely from view." (Hemoglobin/Bleeders opening scene).
