Subject: were his ears pierced? Author: Elizabeth [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:24:50 06/13/07 Wed i noticed that in Treasure Island he wears one earring in one ear (not sure which one) and in Long John Silver he wears one in the other ear. I don't think that was considered a very proper thing to do in his day as an actor. Hollywood (and British Cinema) was very strict about the impression that their actors/actresses gave during that time. It was not like today, where 'almost' anything is accepted.
