Robert Newton was born 99 years ago tomorrow, June 1. How shall we celebrate? I was thinking we could hold an "international film festival" by watching our favorite Robert Newton videos tomorrow. What movie(s) are *you* planning to watch and why? If you're in the UK you can catch Oliver Twist on Sky Cinema 2 tomorrow at 1 or 7 p.m. (Unfortunately, this forum is scheduled to go down for maintenance tomorrow afternoon from 2 to 5 Pacific time. Wish I could do something about the timing!)

Several months ago I purchased 'Obsession' (a.k.a 'The Hidden Room') and when I first watched it I must say that I really did not care for it. However, I have since watched it over again and I must say that I have become OBSESSED with 'Obsession'. It has turned out to be one of my favorites! So much so, that I am currently reading the book (by the way, Clive is a real stinker in the book). The other favorite RN movie of mine is 'Hatter's Castle', which I also have on tape. I will probably watch one of them, since none of the movie channels seem to pay any of his movies anymore. Happy viewing everyone on RN's 99th birthday!
