Last night, my husband was flipping channels on the TV, and, lo, the local educational-access cable channel (which doesn't seem to publish their schedule) was airing two episodes of the LJS series (with open captions)! What a pleasant surprise to see that it's still being aired! (Even if they didn't get all the captions right--the captioner obviously wasn't very fluent in Pirate. And it wasn't any of the rare episodes.)

At the end of the show, there was a notice that purchase and captioning of the show was funded by the U.S. Department of Education. I'm glad to know my tax dollars are being spent on something worthwhile for a change!
