Subject: Sophomore Year

Looking at my schedule for next year there are a lot of hard classes. When i went in to register two of my classes were full so i had to switch some suff around. This put my EIS class from 6-9 on Thursday, and i wanted to try and join concert choir so thats a bummer, and with that i had to find another EDU class and it interferred with my Woodwinds class. My question is do you think i will be able to do woodwinds independently or should i try and do something different with my schedule, because from talking with som of you sophomore year gets harder and harder. Let me know, or if anyone could help me with woodwinds next year if i dont undersand.?
Thanks

I would see if there was anyone that would be willing to switch EIS and EDU sections with you. If you don't know anyone talk to the ED dept. I think that you will have a hard time doing woodwinds on your own because some of the faculty is only here one day a week. Your schedule will be filled from now on. The best advice I can give you for next year is to not procrastinate and keep up with the reading in history.

A lot of students drop courses within the first few weeks after registration and even in the beginning of the semester. Keep your eyes open (check the online course catalog) and as soon as a spot opens up, fill it. Or ask/threaten/bribe an education major to switch spots with you.

It's a lot of work but we all live through it. I can not stress enough how important it is to manage your time. It will save you a lot of headaches. Good luck next year.
