If everything you say is true we would be suckers not to be scared.

But why do you need to believe in the exsistence of an "Illuminatti".

There are quite "concrete" explanations for all the anti democratic activities of "Global Capital".

Slavery was not unique to the "New World" founded by the Pilgrim Fathers.

Slavery has exsisted in a multitude of countries and for thousands of years. It is done away with when it has no longer any Economic/Social/Military/Political benefit to the "rising" class"

Every continent has a history where slavery features. Sometimes it is a fundamental feature, sometimes of marginal significance, except for those enslaved.

As for the oil industry, and for any other business, global, multinatioal or domestic, be it large or small,OF COURSE they plan, predict, influence.

Their shareholders expect no less and mangement do get handsomely paid for doing so.

But the bigger the business, it seems, the bigger the anti- democratic acts of corruption.

The following is a quote from "The Guardian"

"Cheney oil firm widens Iraq role"

Oliver Burkeman in Washington
Thursday May 8, 2003
The Guardian

Halliburton, the company formerly run by the US vice-president, Dick Cheney, has been granted a far broader role in Iraq than previously disclosed and is already operating oilfields in the country, the US army admitted yesterday.

See link for more.

It is simple really.

The wealthy want to be even more wealthy.
Their wealth has been accumulated through exploitation.
Most of the time that exploitation is done with the sanction of the state/states.
Sometimes the state sanctions something the people don't sanction eg the over Iraq.

What you have is Global Capitalism operating within the constraint of "Liberal Democracy" in developed countries, where we do have a say, however limited, and in other less democratic countries whose economic/ political/ social/ cultural/militarist systems require different sets of rules in which they can maximise their profits.

It's not the illuminatti it is the logic of "capital"

Sorry to the "owner of this sitwe for going on for so long about this but I agree with the poster who said "nonsense"
