Jules led him to the cross ties, where she snapped the ropes to either side of his halter, securing him in place. When he was fastened, she stroked his neck lightly. "I'll be right back," she said softly before going to fetch a hoof pick and soft brush. He wasn't to dirty, so a quick once-over with the soft bristled brush left his coat shining and debri-free. Gently she slid her hand down his leg, applying pressure to lift his hoof.
