"So long to you," The woman said, giving Centenial a final pat and Christine a wave of farewell. As the handler exitted the barn, Centenial snorted and rolled his eyes back nervously. When pressure was applied to the halter upon his large, intelligent head, only a snort was issued but he followed. He didn't know why he was left here, but his mistress had left him in this woman's care.

He watched as this new woman circled him, intrigued by her curious actions. Bobbing his head, he let out a squeal, dark mane slapped against golden-brown hide. Burnished hooves are lifted one by one in a form of a prance as the colt stretched out his muzzle to nudge the human..
