So sorry, with regards to what I wrote previously,step 3 onwards are wrong.

After plotting the points on the graph and noting down the point velocity, we have to look at the maximum and minimum velocity and decicide on the scale. eg. 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4

Next, use the points drawn as references points to guide the drawing of isovels.

Actually, quite hard to explain using email, you can ask Dr Chatterjea abt the isovels during tutorial. I think, with her explaination and drawing, you will have a clearer picture.
