Date Posted: 11:39:39 09/27/04 Mon even if the rumors about cesar montano leaving abs-cbn are not true, i think that it's time for BSMBSM to end while the ratings are high. abs-cbn should conceptualize a different show for maricel that she has not done before while cesar can freely pursue his international film career. ang gusto ko sana ay isang adult drama mini-series (to be overseen by armida's reyna films) na tatakbo lang ng isang season (three months) kung saan ang character niya ay na-involve sa magkapatid na sina albert martinez at william martinez. either albert or william dies early in the marriage kaya ma-i-involve siya sa isa pa sa kanila. her 40th birthday should be given a grand celebration (a three-hour special - isa siya sa pioneers and loyal artists ng DOS) at isabay na rin dito ang long overdue tribute (i don't know how many years exactly has she been in the business) to recognize her television/film career. it should be similar to the one given to judy ann - well-researched, well-produced, at ang mga guests ay talagang may kinalaman sa karera niya. ang opening siyempre ay bongga - it would be a treat to watch maricel sing and dance again. many have expressed disappointment over wyngard tracy's handling of mary's career pero naniniwala pa rin ako na kung nakatakda sa kanya ang isang proyekto ay mapapasakanya iyon. i am excited about the aga muhlach-maricel soriano tandem pero sana nga sa kanila lang naka-sentro ang istorya. sana sa regal films na lang ito gawin para hindi mahaluan ng kung sino-sino sa talent center. dapat maliit lang ang cast at pulido ang istorya. it should not be the usual romantic pa-cute films of aga or the usual heavy drama films of maricel. light drama lang siya dapat para hindi masyado mabigat. joey javier reyes should direct the film. gusto ko rin na magsama sina regine velasquez at maricel soriano sa isang musical-drama tungkol na mala-american sweethearts (catherine zeta-jones/julia roberts) sa viva films. joel lamangan should direct the film. my last suggestion might be a controversial one pero it would be interesting for judy ann santos and maricel soriano to play lovers in a film that will tackle lesbian issues. i don't know who will gamble on such a taboo subject but it's worth considering. their characters decide to be together after failed relationships with men. maryo has never directed judy ann and this should be a good project to start reunite mary with maryo as well. mas gusto ko na makagawa muna si maricel ng ibang movies before the much-anticipated maricel-sharon movie for star cinema. laurice guillen or marilou diaz-abaya should direct this film. what do you guys think???
