I've been following the discussion on who is the bigger star and who should carry the movie, I Will Survive. Actually, it's a movie for the four: Marya, Juday, Dina and Eric. So, if the movie becomes a big hit, it's because of the four of them. But we can't discount the fact that the throngs of Marya and Juday's fans will make the movie a much bigger hit. With the question that is being tossed as to who is a much bigger star. Of course, it's Maricel and she should not be compared to Juday since Marya is on the same level as Sharon and Juday is on the same level as Claudine.Larry was right, Maricel was already a big star before showbiz recognized Juday Ann. Larry is right again that the "and" in the movie was because Juday is much bigger than Dina and Eric but Regal can't also put Juday's name ahead of Dina because Dina has maintained her popularity although not as huge as Maricel for a very long time. So, for Regal to play safe, they put Dina's name after Maricel but recognized Juday's box office power with an "and". But it should have been an amersand(&) and not the word "and". If I were Mother Lily, the billing should be like this:

Dina Bonnevie Eric Quizon & Judy Ann Santos

But try looking at the promo photo of the movie, halos lahat sila nakatinging kay Maricel which only goes to show that she's the bigger star and the "bida". To clarify things, marami ding flop si Juday. Her movie with Nora, her movie with Robin Padilla and a few more in her earlier years. But, every actor however big had a flop. Vilma, Nora, Sharon, Maricel, FPJ, Dolphy, Rudy Fernandez, Robin Padilla, Bong Revilla and Judy Ann have their share of flops. All we have to do is to stop the debate and just go support the movie. For the Maricelians na nasa Pinas, magdala kayo ng banner sa first day of showing.

See yah you guys sa Pinas on the 10th of May!!
