If you open the FAP's website, its group released today the nominees for the Academy Awards. I am happy that Maricel is on it along with Cherrie Pie, Dina, Sharon & Laurice Guillen. I didn't expect her to win although I am smelling something. It's enough for me that Marya is a grandslam nominee for Filipinas this year. Even if Ai-ai, Ara & Cherrie had already garnered Best Actress awards but none of them got nominations in all award giving bodies except Marya. This is a reason for us to rejoice since she was recognized in all award giving bodies although not all of the members approved of her to take the plum. I am still crossing my fingers that she will finally be bestowed the FAP Best Actress which she richly deserves but again, I am not pinning my expectations so much not to get hurt at the end. It's good to hope but not to expect. Try visiting the website:www.fap.org.ph because sooner they will have a poll for the People's Choice Award. At least man lang, dito tayo mananalo but still it's a bigger honor if the FAP itself gives her the Best Actress award. Once again, I am encouraging everyone not to believe in "chismis" that they are in authority as to who will win. Disregard the claims and guesses. Let us just all pray that Maricel will win. If not then life must still go on.
