Being disylexic I had the same problem as a child. What I did was use association. Take the spelling words that have pictures and tape the word to them. Like dictionary, etc. Words that can't be picture related, use word association that will remind her of something to trigger the memory to spell it correctly. This is what I have done for over 30 years and it works! Unfortunately, many teachers do not understand the dyslexic child and try to label them apethic or lazy. Explain to her and work out her reward system together.
