I'm currently working on writing a tutor book for dyslexic children who wish to learn how to play the piano.
Not all dyslexic children have a good ear, and learning by rote is not always the way foward.... so I'm trying to help them with note reading.
I'm working on colour codes for the notes, and would love to find any information with regards to which colours can be the most effective, and if any are confusing...
What is the best option in terms of colour for the background?
I've also vaguely heard of "colour filters" being plaved on pages that help sometimes. Is anyone able to give me any info?
I'm open to any other suggestions as well...
The main issues I'm trying to address are:
-distinguish right/left hand
-note reading
-which direction on the piano is going up, which direction is going down....
Thanks for your time!
